This volume consists of three items which are copies of correspondence, minutes, and resolutions cited in, or enclosed with, letters from the Governments of Bombay and Bengal. The items are:
- IOR/F/4/257/5647 'Mr Crow's reply to the strictures on his Conduct sent by Mr Manesty to the Secret Committee in 1796'
- IOR/F/4/257/5648 'Attempts of the French to obtain possession of the Island of Cameran in the Red Sea'
- IOR/F/4/257/5650 'The French Brig La Vigilante with her Crew delivered over to the Imaum of Muscat to enable him by her restoration to appease the resentment of the French excited by his having compelled the Brig to leave the Cove of Muscat which led to her capture by His Majesty's Ship Concorde'.
