Digital images of a compendium of texts, mostly on Islamic matters: Fiqh, Adat-Istiadat Minangkabu, Hisab, Tarekat Nashabandiyah, Sejarah Nabi, dan lain-lain. Concerns Islamic laws and ritual obligations, Minangkabau customs, Sufism, histories of the prophets, Admonitions for women. There is a date of 1338 (1919/1920 AD) at the end of the manuscript, most probably added by a later owner.
The manuscript measures 15.5 x 22.5 cm; the text block 8.5 x 15.5 cm; black and red ink on European and local paper, Minangkabau-style leather binding, 229 folios. The manuscript cover is black leather, constructed in the South Asian Muslim style. The manuscript is quite heavily annotated in a number of hands (including in Latin script), and with a variety of inks and pencils. On folio 158, ink from an annotation on the recto has shown through on the verso, partially obscuring the original text [images 316 and 317].
The manuscript suffers from staining, mould and insect damage.
