In addition to copies of the annual estimates and finance and revenue accounts, the following returns are also included:

• Annual Territorial, Revenue and Disbursement accounts of the Company, 1831-1853;
• bills of exchange drawn by or on the Company, the various government in India and the Company's agents in China, 1834-1843;
• Assets of the company, including amounts realised by the sale of the Company's trading assets, 1834-1837;
• declared value of exports from England to China, and exports of specie to China, 1828-1839;
• value of exports of treasure from England to India, 1814-1840;
• repayment by the UK Government on account of the war with China, and a statement of the cost of the war, 1840-1842;
• sums paid as secret service money, 1834-1842;
• gross revenue in each Presidency, 1809/10, 1819/20, 1829/30 & 1839/40;
• returns of number and cost of civil and military pensioners, and numbers of appointments, 1834-1842;
• imports of cinnamon, cassia, tea, raw silk etc, 1830-1842;
• silver imported from China, 1842;
• steam vessels employed by the Company on the mail packet service between Suez and Bombay, cost of maintenance and income from postal charges, 1842;
• imports of tea sold by the Company for home consumption, 1740-1844;
• copies of Acts of the Government of India regarding sea and inland customs duties, 1837-1845;
• returns of Java Prize Money, 1811-1814
