All certificates are endorsed 'transferred to the London Register'. The volume includes statements prepared by the Accountant General of Bengal of shares so transferred 1853-1860, and also cancelled halves of promissory notes issued by the Company in 1857 in favour of the Agra & United Service Bank.
Also includes agreement between the Company and Mrs Mary Harriet Campbell for payment to her of an annuity in consideration of a claim for compensation for incorrect repayment of stock held by her late husband Maj. General Charles Campbell.
