- Disability pensions for pre-1914 and for 1918-39 service are recorded in the main military pension books, L/AG/21/11 and 12. World War I disability pensions still in issue in 1929 were continued on the main military pension books, L/AG/21/11. In a few exceptional cases in which a regular Indian Army officer was granted a wound pension but continued to serve on the active list the pension was issued on the books of furlough pay, L/AG/20/6. A new series was commenced in 1946 in respect of disabilities arising out of World War II (1939-45).
