Revised nonsense poems. Drawing pasted to cover depicts artist at his easel. Includes doodles of heads, figures and animals. Notes [perhaps for a play] about an old man on inside back cover. Undated [but Maeve Gilmore suggests that 'The Rhyme of the Flying Bomb' was written on Sark, where the family lived from 1946-1949, see Maeve Gilmore, 'A World Away' in Mervyn Peake: Two Lives (London: Vintage, 1999), p.146].
