Letters (1871-1886, nd) to H. O. Arnold-Forster from Mary Arnold, his grandmother; Edward P. Arnold, his brother; Sarah Forster, aunt of his foster father, W. E. Forster; W. T. Arnold, editor of the Guardian, his cousin; and Matthew Arnold, poet and critic, his uncle.
Letters (1843-1854) from William Delafield Arnold, H. O. Arnold-Forster's father, to W. D. Arnold's mother, Mary; and to Arthur Stanley, later Dean of Westminster.
Correspondence (1861-1886) of W. E. Forster, politician and foster father of H. O. Arnold-Forster. Contains correspondence with Ralph Waldo Emerson; W. E. Gladstone; Charles Stewart Parnell, John Dillon and James O'Kelly; Mervyn H. N. Story-Maskelyne, H. O. Arnold-Forster's father-in-law; Lord Rosebery; the Earl of Iddesleigh; and Earl Grey.
