7 digital copies of photographs from the Ibrahimi Engineering Company collection, in Kerman, Iran.
The individual dates of the photographs are not known, but it is known that they were taken during the reign of Nasir al-Din Shah Qajar [1848-1896]. The photographs were all taken by a member / members of the Ibrahimi family, and the original prints were produced from glass plate negatives.
The photographs consist of group and individual portrait photographs depicting Ibrahimi family members; the third photograph shows the Ibrahimi family doctor. Unfortunately, information about the provenance, context and subjects of these photographs is sparse, and so this catalogue is necessarily incomplete.
