This volume was marked on the back Calig. E. XIII. but it appears to be a great part of Calig. D. III. which was supposed to have been lost.

- 1. A charter of Henry III. confirmed by some of his subjects; by which he engages to assist Raimond D. of Toulouse in a concern at Rome; and also against the K. of France. (Latin, on vellum.) 1.
- 2. A treaty of peace between Henry III. and Lewis IX. K. of Fr. by which the latter surrenders to the former all his rights in the dioceses of Limoges, Cahors, and Perigueux; and Henry renounces all his claims on Normandy, Anjou, Tourraine, &c. N. B. This is an original attestation of the said treaty by 15 of the lords of Henry's privy council, whose seals were appendant, but are now most of them destroyed. It contains one clause more than is in Rymer. (French. on vellum. vid. Rym. I. 688.) London, July 12, 1259. 2.
