Condition: leaves damaged by fire in 1731 with loss of the text around the top of each page.
Each leaf is mounted individually in a window mounts, and the occasional signatures that survive are insufficient to reconstruct the original composition of the MS, particularly as the order if the leaves is seriously disrupted.

Dimensions: approximately 280 × 245 mm; leaves - 270 mm x 215 mm; originally probably about 250 mm x 180 mm. Written area 210 mm x 130 mm.
Ink: black (in part brown); red for titles and initials
Binding: British Museum 1964; brown cloth on card, leather spine and corners, 285 mm x 240 mm.
