Title page, with chapters 1-3, numbered and ordered by the author as follows:
Chapter 1: 1-9, [9A], 7-8 (both typescript). The chapter is incomplete. There are no manuscript sheets numbered 10-50, although Ballard has re-numbered chapters 2 and 3, indicating that the latter portion of chapter 1 was drafted subsequently and inserted. Thus, sheet 53 in chapter 2 was originally numbered 37. (Where sheets have been re-numbered, Ballard's revised numbering is always given.)
Chapter 2: 51-2, 52A, 53-5, 55A-B, 56-8, 58A, 59-61 (yellow 'post-it' note adhered to the verso of 61), 62-86. Chapter concludes on 87.
Chapter 3: 87 (88A on the verso), 88 (B2B on the verso), B1 (B2A on the verso), B2, B2C, B3, 89 (yellow 'post-it' note on the verso), 90, B4, B5, 91, [91A1-3], 91B, 92-6.
