2. Cannes, 1996. Invitation card for 'a midnight celebration in honour of David Cronenberg's Crash immediately following the World Premiere in the Official Competition'. Friday, 17 May, Carlton Beach.

3. A fax received 2 July 1997 from The New Yorker containing details of a photograph from The Hulton Getty Picture Collection relating to the 'Crashed Cars' exhibition. Caption: 'Sally Porter, who is helping to prepare the exhibition, fixes the £3,000 price tag to the wrecked Pontiac car'. In addition, a copy of this fax, annotated by Ballard with a note to Blair Hartzell [MoMA, New York] advising him that he can obtain a copy of the the photograph from Hulton Getty, and reminding him that he would 'love to see Will Self's article when it is published'.

4. Single page from unidentified newspaper magazine supplement (dated 4 April 2004) containing, under the heading 'flashback', a brief summary of the 'Crashed Cars' exhibition (here referred to as 'The Atrocity Exhibition'). Includes a reproduction of the photograph of Sally Porter noted above.
