1. The Forsaken Merman for tenor and soprano solo, chorus and orchestra, text by Matthew Arnold, in vocal score, the orchestration only occasionally indicated in the piano part, notated in pencil and blue ink on up to twelve staves, with a number of deletions, alterations and ersures. ff.20. Large ink stain on final page of music. In an album, with several blank pages at the end of the book, and dated at the end ‘Summer 1916’.
2. Siesta. First and second proof copies of the strings, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn orchestral parts, with autograph annotations by the composer in red ink, blue and red crayon to the first copies.
