Ruling: 320 x 105 mm, written in two columns.
Binding: Contemporary British Museum black leather binding.
Illustration: Each commemoration has an image, the first three having been removed (possibly to be used as icons) and subsequently replaced in the 16th century. Twenty-two images survive.

Purchased by the British Museum from the library of the Revd Dr Samuel Butler (b. 1774, d. 1839), Bishop of Litchfield, 5 July 1841.
