Contemporary manuscript copies of 3 letters from Charles Darke to Major General Sir Archibald Campbell, President and Governor of Fort St George, Mar and May 1788, and Feb 1789, along with copy of a letter to Darke from John Chamier, April 1788.
Autograph Letter Signed from Major-General James Cock in Benares to Twining in Calcutta, giving an account of the murder of Mr Cherry, Jan 1799.
Manuscript financial account by Sir Thomas Rumbold, Governor of Madras from 1778 to 1781, headed 'An Account of Nazzurs Received by Governor Sir Thomas Rumbold at Madras from Ball Kistna late Renter of the Itchapour District at the time of his Renting the Gangam District'.
Contemporary scribal copy of an original, probably by Major John Colin Tonyn, in which the author makes reference to his earlier letter of Dec 1786, complains about not being able 'to obtain my Rights', and makes reference to the East India Company.
