- Correspondence from Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles to his sister Mrs Mary Ann Flint covering the period 1818-1825. They appear to have been very close and the letters are full of news about family and friends. They also include letters written on the deaths of Robert Hull, Leopold Raffles and Charlotte Raffles and on the burning of the ship Fame. The letters describe the family's plans and movements including details such as the intention to send the children to England after Leopold's death in 1821.
