Written mainly by five hands, viz. (1) ff. 1-10; (2) ff. 11, 15-21, 24-53; (3) ff. 12-14v, dated 31 Aug. 1669 (f. 12v) (4) ff. 61-82; (5) Johannes Meursius the elder ff. 83-91, 93-102. Large Nos '9' (f. 24) and '10' (f. 83) (see Harley 3382, f. 1). Black circular stamp in upper left corner (ff.24, 61, 83). ff.11-21, 83-102 owned by J. G. Graevius (Nos 112 and 96 in his 1703 catalogue; Fontes p.169). ff.1-10 purchased for the Harleian Library from Giovanni Zamboni via Michael Maittaire, 6 Aug. 1724 (f.1*; Fontes p.367; Diary p.303 n.10); ff.11-102 purchased from Zamboni, 20 Oct. 1725 (ff.24, 59, 61, 83; Fontes p.367; Diary p.385 n.6).
