Paper (w.m. Anchor, cf. Piccard AnkerV 104-108, Briquet 559, Harlfinger 67, 77, 78). ff. 498. 214 x 155 (135 x 75) mm. Ruling Leroy 10D1n, 16 lines (ff. 3-492), 18 lines (ff. 494-496). Gatherings of 8, numbered (ff. 3-402) βʹ-ναʹ. Titles and scholia in red ink. Illuminated portrait of Constantine the Great (f. 3) and illuminated depiction of the portent of the stars in the shape of the Cross (f. 6). Inscribed on f. 498 vἐσταχώθη παρ' ἐμοῦ Μητροφάνους ἱερομονάχου (16th cent.). B.M. binding (18th cent.).

Scribe (ff. 3-492) Manuel Malaxos, in April 1574 = A.M. 7083 (f. 4; Repertorium I 250). Purchased by Demetrios Pekiolos(?) from his brother-in-law Manolis (...?) 29 March 1651 (Greek note, f. 1).

Custodial History:
Owned by John Covel, D.D. (his Greek MS XXIX; notes f. 1; Fontes p.116). Purchased from Covel for the Harleian Library, 27 Feb. 1715/6 (Diary pp.xxxiv-xxxvi).
