Parchment. ff. 299. 310 x 215 (185 x 105) mm. Ruling Leroy 31D1a, 22 lines. Iluminated evangelist portraits (ff. 87v, 142v, 232v) and marginal figures (ff. 88, 143, 233). Illuminated historiated headpieces and decorated initials (ff. 4, 88, 143, 233). B.M. binding of blind-tooled purple morocco over wooden boards (late 19th cent.).
Written by Ioannes Rhosos at Rome (colophon, f. 299; Repertorium I 178) for Cardinal Francesco Gonzaga (d.1483) (Fontes p.167).
