Material: Paper.
Folation: ff 142. The old foliation, in red ink, diverges after f 126 as it foliates two blank leaves as f 127 and f 128 (126a and 126b on Digitised Manuscripts), as well as foliating the three blank endleaves. The modern pencil foliation is followed here and on Digitised Manuscripts. In addition, three unfoliated blank paper flyleaves at the beginning.
Dimensions: 208 x 145 mm.
Ruling: 155 x 95 mm (ff 1r-14r, 17r-126v); 145 x 85 mm (ff 127r-142v); Leroy 10E2m, 2 columns, 30 lines per column (ff 7r-13v, 16r-126v); ruled in 1 column, 32 lines per page (ff 1r-6v), and 26 lines per page (ff 127r-142r).
Binding: Late 15th century Cretan binding of blind-stamped red leather with grooved wooden boards, two thongs and a Greek-style spine. Fore-edges decorated in ink and red wash with circles linked by an interlace pattern, visible on Digitised Manuscripts as f vii recto(fore-edge); f viii recto (upper edge); f ix recto (lower edge).
Script: Written by two hands: (1) ff 1r-126v; (2) ff 127v-142v.
Decoration: Initials, chapter numbers, running titles and pointing hands in red.

Owned by the Venetian Matteo Dandalo (d.1570) (ex-libris `Danduli 137/ Ματθαίου Δανδούλου ρλζʹ', f. 1). . Marginal notes by Patrick Young (ff. 1-3v) and a collation by him with Bodleian Library, MS Laud gr.
Matteo Dandolo, Venetian ambassador in Rome d. 1570): inscribed with his name in Greek and Latin: 'Danduli 137/ Ματθαίου Δανδούλου ρλζʹ' (f 1), cf. Revilla and Andrés (1936) pp. lxviii-lxxvi.
A seal of a red ship, as in Royal 1 A IX and Royal 3 A XII (first flyleaf).
Patrick Young, (b. 1584, d.1652), librarian and scholar: collations by him (ff 7r-126v); inscribed by him: 'collatum esse hunc codicem / cum ms. Bibliothecae Bodleianae qui / fuit Archiep[iscop]i Cantuariensis' (Bodl. M.S. Laud gr. 30), insertion of two leaves (ff 14r-15r).
