Thomas Howard (b. 1585, d. 1646), 2nd earl of Arundel, 4th earl of Surrey, and 1st earl of Norfolk, art collector and politician, probably acquired by him together with several Arundel MSS.
Thomas Howard (b. 1628, d. 1677), 4th earl of Arundel, 6th earl of Surrey, and 5th duke of Norfolk, owned by him while 4th Earl of Arundel, before 1655: see Harley MS 7522B, ff 118r-221v.
