Material: Paper (Watermark: Coat of arms with tree on three mountains, similar to Briquet 969).
Foliation: ff 51. Contemporary pagination 1-101. Four unfoliated paper flyleaves at the beginning and eighteen at the end.
Dimensions: 230 x 165 mm.
Ruling: 140 x 110 mm. 16 lines per page.
Collation: Gatherings of 8, numbered αʹ-ηʹ (ηʹ comprises ff 49-51 and 5 unfoliated leaves). Signatures at centre of lower margin of first four leaves in each gathering.
Binding: Contemporary French binding of tooled leather of interlacing strap-work (rebacked). In the centre-pieces are an erased inscription on the upper cover and obliterated arms surmounted by a crown on the lower cover. Red morocco doublures with gilt trim and stamped in gold with the arms of George II. Gilt fore-edges.
Decoration: Large initials (ff 1r, 27r) not executed.
