Autograph Collection - Music. A collection of eight letters by composers and conductors addressed to Sir Thomas Beecham, and one manuscript by Beecham, comprising:
Ralph Vaughan Williams. Typed letter signed, excusing himself from attending a concert and supper in Beecham's honour, April 1949.
William Walton. Autograph letter signed, thanking Beecham for a performance of 'Façade', Oct [no year].
Also, letters by Adrian Boult (one) and Malcolm Sargent (5), and an annotated typescript of Beecham's address at the funeral service of Frederick Delius, [May 1935], and photographs of Delius's birthplace and gravestone.
