Contains references to singer Blanche Cole, English opera, Promenade Concerts, 'Il Talismano', 'Norma', 'Butterby Chilperic'. Dancer's name: 'Miss Elliott'. Singer's name 'Miss Parkes'. Includes a section of music originally written for the drama 'Snaefel' (1873): a song beginning 'By the Snaefell A mystic dell'. Together with some music of a later date (some copied by James Weaver and dated 1890). Printed music inserted: D G Day, words by Ralph Harrison: 'Be always up and doing boys'. Song.
