Grant, for £7 paid to him by John Fowcher of Chesterfield, collier, from Thomas Raynershawe, one alderman of Chesterfield, to the same John and Mary his wife, of 4 selions containing half an acre of land lying in a close called Little Saint Ellens, between the land of Gilbert [Talbot, 10th] earl of Shrewsbury to the north and a parcel of land late of the dissolved gild of Chesterfield to the south, and abutting on the king's highway next to the chapel of St Helen on the east, and on the king's highway leading between Chesterfield and Kent Lane on the west.
