Indenture between John Greaves the elder of Beeley, yeoman and John Greaves the younger, his son and heir apparent, and Edward Deane of Beeley, gentleman, that whereas there has been from time out of mind a way to and from the now dwelling house of the said Edward situated at a place called the Greaves in Beeley to a common highway called the Dingle lane in Beeley, and to ride, drive carts at all times of the year, and to ride to and from the said house through the fould or yard adjoining the said house now in the tenure of George Higden to a close called the Dicke sicke and through the said close to a parcel of land called the Dingle wood (all of which ground is of the inheritance of the said John Greaves) , and through the Dingle wood to a close called the Dingle meadow. and through the Dingle meadow to the said common highway called the Dingle lane, which way by ploughing in some places somewhat obliterated whereby controversy might arise, now the said John and John have confirmed to the said Edward one way convenient to and from a close of the said Edward called the Crookt peece in and and through the northeast side of the third close from the said close called the Dicke sicke, accounting the said close called the Dicke sicke for one of the three, and so through the nether end of the said third close to the said parcel of ground called the Dingle wood and through the same to the said close called Dingle meadow, to go and ride and drive carts to and from the said now dwelling house of the said Edward.
