Grant by Hugh de Linacre, son of Hugh de Linacre, to the nuns and their brethren of Sempringham, all the land which they held of his father Hugh, that is all the moiety of that land which Richard son of Godwin granted to them, namely everything of the fee of the said Hugh son of Hugh between the land of the Templars which Walter held of them, and the land which was of Hugh, son of Godwin de Boithorp, extending to the north from the site of the old mill next the water called Hipere, to hold in perpetual alms, free of all service except that every second year they shall give to the said Hugh and his heirs a pair of boots at Michaelmas. Grant also of common of pasture in the fields of Brampton for 6 cows and 2 horses within the said service.
