Release and assignment by William Cause of Brampton to Robert Cade of Brampton of the term of years in a lease, namely, the demise by an indenture, dated at Chesterfield 12 March 1459, by Joan Bate of Chesterfield to William Cause of a parcel of meadow in the fee of Brampton called Bate medewe with all the lands and meadows which were in the tenure of Nicholas Caskyn of Brampton, to hold for 12 years from the Annunciation next; annual rent, 12s.; and with witnesses, Robert Brettenar, John Asche, Thomas Browne of Chesterfield, with others.
