Endorsements: Condition of the obligation that if John Hygdon and his heirs ever make claim against John Schawe for all such messuages, lands and tenements which were of his late father, Thomas Schawe, in Somersall, Chesterfield, Walton, Brampton, Baslow, Bubnell, Chatsworth, Hope and Castleton or elsewhere in Derbyshire, contrary to the will of the said Thomas and a deed in tail made to John Schawe by the feoffees of the said Thomas as appears more fully in the said deed, then this obligation shall retain full strength, but shall otherwise be void.1 Henry 7, Jo: Higden obligation to John Shawe of Somersall.
