Grant by George Lynakre of Westwell to Sir John Chaworth, knight, Francis Leeke, son and heir apparent of Sir Francis Leeke, knight, and Thomas Powtrell, Ralph Leeke and Richard Blakewall, esquires, of his manors of Linacre and Plumbley, and lands and tenements in Linacre, Plumbley and Westwell, to have and hold to the use of a certain indenture bearing date 18 October 5 Edward VI (1551), between the said George and Francis Leeke of Sutton in le Dale, knight, concerning the custody of James Lynaker [Linacare], kinsman [grandson] and heir apparent of the said George and the marriage to be solemnised between the said James and Frances Leeke, one of the daughters of the said Sir Francis Leeke.
