Bond for £30 from Godfrey Plattes of Whittington, yeoman, and Henry Peace of Chesterfield, mercer, to Godfrey Clarke of Somersall in Brampton, gentleman, to perform covenants.The condition being that where the above Hugh Peace and Trowth his wife, one of the daughters of William Shawe alias Blackshawe, deceased, by their deed bearing date the same day granted to the above Godfrey Clarke a third part of a messuage or tenemment and of all houses and buildings on Brampton More now or late in the joint or several tenures of the said Hugh Peace and of one Thomas Noble, and a third part of a close adjoining called the Storres containing 4 acres and 2 roods of meadow and pasture, and the third part of meadow or pasture of 6 roods lying in a close called Porter Russhes in Brampton now or late in the holding of John Watkynson or his assigns, and the third part of one other parcel of meadow of 3 roods lying in a close in Brampton called the Loundhill now in the occupation of said John Watkynson, if the said Hugh and Trowthe his wife have full power to grant the said third part of the said messuage and lands to the said Godfrey, this obligation to be void.
