Lease, for term of life and a year more, by Thomas, son of Robert son of Robert son of Ralph of Lockington, to Henry de Petisso, living in Lockington, Alducia le Flag, his wife, and Richard their son, of a half toft in the same vill, extending and fixed from his toft on the north side lying next to the way leading towards 'Ett'am' and from the king's road to the toft of the abbot of Leicester abutting on the east; and also 2 acres of arable land in the fields of Lockington; and 4 'dolas' (strips) in the meadow of Lockington, of which one rood lies on le Suserlandes, half a rood above Bredenweie, one rood at the mill of Lockington, half a rood 'attegreteyorn', half a rood at le Toftes, half a rood 'after ye Milne Weye', half a rood upon le Hetforlong, one rood in Grenespoch, half a rood 'after ye Brok', half a rood abutting in le Diyermedue, half a rood at le Irvencros, and one rood abutting upon Dounctonsti, all lying next to the land of the said abbot of Leicester; and one strip of meadow lying in Littelpanchale, one strip in le Renomede, one strip in le Sineyeyornes, and one strip upon le Morometedoles, all lying next to the meadow of the said abbot; annual rent, 6d. and a half-penny.
