Covenant between Thomas Bate esquire and Isabel his wife, and John Cokayne esquire, whereby it is agreed that whenever the said John shall re-grant on demand to the said Thomas and Isabel, the manors of Harthill and Middleton and the mill of Alport in co. Derby (made by Ralph Schirley [Shirley], knight, and Alice his wife by 2 separate assizes unto the said John, Thomas and Isabel), for the life of the said Isabel, he shall hold the manor of Ballidon to himself and his heirs for ever.
