Grant of confirmation [16th century copy], for 20s., by Hubert, son of Ralph, to Peter de Wakebrugg, son of Ranulf, of land which he held in the time of Peter, his uncle, except the dower which the said Hubert gave him with Emma, his daughter, in Crich and Shuckstonefield, with all liberties in the vill of Crich, 'in tolle qui ductus Cruchilife', and pannage for his pigs in the woods of Crich, and free entry into the woods with cart-loads and horse-loads, 'cum curru et summagio', as far as the land which he held of the earl Ferrers; annual rent, a pound of pepper.
