Grant from John Owtrem of Holmesfield, the elder, to William Croft and William Kyng of lands in Holmesfield in trust for William Owtrem his son and his heirs, with covenant that the said John and William Owtrem shall occupy 'the hed howse with the parler and the chambre aboof, the halff off all the howses off office withyn the fold' except the house in which William Bothome dwells 'for his yere', and also the said William Owtrem shall have the half of Ewalflatt of the aforesaid, all Aschwall, Longrodes, Magge acre, The V acre, the Town acre, Waltur hadland, Aschwall medoe, the 'medow dooll' in Oldfield and the half of the houses at the Storth, with the closes on the west side of the aforesaid houses; and for the due performance of which the said John binds himself in £20.
