Indenture made between Nicholas Agard esquire and John Ireland of Yeldersley, esquire, gentleman, that whereas indentures were made concerning the marriage of William Ireland, son and heir of the said John, and Dorothy, daughter of the said Nicholas, the latter dated 24 April, 10 Henry VII, 1495, whereby a jointure was settled upon the same in the sum of 4 marks per annum, now by this indenture a further settlement of land was to be made within 6 weeks of a marriage had between the said William and Dorothy, or between Robert, second son of the said John Ireland, and the said Dorothy, with provision for Cecily and Margaret, daughters of the said Nicholas, all five under 21 years, with certain lands to be settled after the death of Margery, mother of the said John Ireland; appointment of John Northampton, Thomas Ireland, clerk, and John Blount, gentleman, as feoffees for the said settlement.
