Copy of a Plea from a plea roll relating to the manors and advowsons of Mugginton, Egginton and Radbourne, on the occasion of a presentation to Mugginton church, now vacant, with the reply by Thomas Rolleston and Richard Parys to the right which was claimed by Thomas Babyngton; reciting that Sir Robert fitzWakelyn, knight, was seized of the aforesaid manors and advowson of the church of Mugginton, and presented Thomas Eston in the time of Edward II, and after the death of the said Sir Robert, his lands descended to Elizabeth and Isabel who respectively married Sir Henry Chaundes, knight, and Robert Stafford, and that in 16 Edward II at Derby the said lands were partitioned between them; descent of manors and advowsons described further.
