Copy (Later) of an Indenture of Agreement between Reginald de Leghe, of the one part, and William de Stafford, 'Mons.' (Sir) John de Stafford, and Edmund de Draicote of the other part, concerning the advowson of the church of Leigh, where the manor of Leigh was onetime in the seisin of Robert de Leghe, who presented to the said church, and after his death the manor descended to one Philip and then to Robert as his son and heir, who died without male heirs, and so the manor came to Alice, Ellen and Cecily, sisters of the said Philip, with further descent divided between their heirs to the parties named, and that now the said Reginald has sold the next presentation to the said William, John and Edmund.Dated Stafford.
