Lease from Samuel Bevercotes of Ordsall, co. Nott., esquire, to Thomas Woodward of Clipstone, co. Nott., gentleman, of the third part of the premises which John Stanhoppe [Stanhope] of Elvaston, co. Derby, esquire, by an indenture of lease dated 4 April last past let for a term of 41 years to the said Samuel, namely all that parcel of ground called Haywood lying within the forest of Sherwood in the said county of Nottingham near the town of Blidworth, but excepting one parcel which of ancient time was asserted and adjoins the hedge of Blidworth on the west side, for the term of 40 years; annual rent 15d.
