Release by Thomas Cockaine [Cokayne] of Pooley, co. Warw., esquire, to Thomas Levinge of Parwich, co. Derby, gentleman, of the manor of Parwich alias Perwich, in the said county and all messuages and lands belonging thereto, sometime the inheritance of Sir Thomas Cockaine [Cokayne], knight, deceased, grandfather of the said Thomas Cockaine, the yearly rent of 6s. 8d. payable to the said Thomas Cockaine for the tithes of corn and hay of Wirksworth, Middleton next Wirksworth, Ible, Cromford, Alderwasley and Ashleyhay from the death of Sir Edward Cockaine, knight, deceased, and the rent of 6s. 8d. payable by the said Thomas Levinge and by William Parker for the tithes of corn and hay of Parwich, Cold Eaton and Alsop in the Dale for certain years yet to come of Mary Jesson, Edward and William her sons for life, only excepted.
