Covenant from John Statham of Williamthorpe Linges, co. Derby, yeoman, Thomas Statham of Derby, ironmonger, son and heir apparent of Edmond Statham late of Derby, ironmonger, and Edward Statham of Matlock, co. Derby, yeoman, to Henry Statham of Tansley, co. Derby, gentleman, that upon the reasonable request and at the costs of the said Henry, they shall convey to him all that messuage called Gouldhill house lying in Tansley now or late in the tenure of the said Henry, and also one cottage with a croft lying in Tansley and now or late in the tenure of Henry Baguley, and all houses and lands appertaining to the same, to the use of the said Henry and his heirs male, for the payment of £100 to the daughters of the same Henry, or £50 if there was only one daughter.
