Lease, for £40, from Robert Meverell of Tideswell, co. Derby, gentleman, to Edward Meverell, gentleman, his brother, of the manor house or capital messuage, mills, lands and chattels moveable and immoveable, in the town fields of Tideswell aforesaid, now in the tenure of the said Robert Meverell, for 90 years if Barbara Meverell, mother of the said Edward and Robert, and the said Edward and Robert, or any of them, so long live, the said Edward paying an annual rent of £10 to the said Robert during the life of the same Robert, and after the death of the said Barbara, the yearly rent of £20; and also that the said Edward shall find and pay to the said Barbara during her lifetime, such articles as were agreed between the said Robert and Barbara; and further that the said Edward will find the said Robert during his life sufficient meat, drink and lodging at the said manor house at such times as is needful.
