Grant by John Fylay, clerk, to John Crofte, burgess of the town of Cambridge, Henry Cossey and John Woode, clerks, John Wighton, John Hundreder and Richard Ade, of a messuage in Cambridge in the parish of All Saints lying between the messuage of the vicar of the parish church of All Saints on the one part, and the messuage of Henry Grombold [Grymbold], baker, on the other part, and which abutts on one headland on the king's highway and on the other headland onto the messuage of the said John Crofte, which messuage the said John Fylay had by the grant of the said Henry Cossey and John Woode and of Richard Smyth, apothecary, by a deed dated at Cambridge 15 January 49 Henry VI (1471).
