Bond, in £300, from Robert Boughton of Sheffield, co. York, and John Stones of Little Sheffield, co. York, gentlemen, to John Bradshaw of Brampton, co. York, esquire, to indemnify the said John Bradshaw from all actions arising out of the sale of a messuage and several lands in Ulley, co. York to the said John Bradshaw, which sale was of the inheritance of Nicholas Stones, late of Ulley aforesaid for the consideration of £1,250, whereof £650 has been paid by the said John Bradshaw to Charles Darwent of Rotherham, gentleman by the direction and consent of the said Robert and John, and the other £645 is paid to the said Robert Boughton and John Stones, but as Edward Fretwell of Wickersley in the said county has a judgment against the said Nicholas Stones for £200 or more, it is feared this might encumber the said messuage and lands.Sealed and delivered in the presence of:
