Release by John Lynacre of Charley, co. Staff., gentleman, John Noble of Farewell, co. Staff., gentleman, and Richard Blackborne of Longdon, co. Staff. to Godfrey Bradshawe of London, gentleman, Francis Bradshawe his brother and to the heirs of Godfrey, of the manor of Abney and lands in Abney and in the parishes of Hope and Eyam, in which Nicholas Bagshawe of Farewell, co. Staff., gentleman, had enfeoffed the same, and which the said Nicholas had purchased or which were of the inheritance of the same Nicholas or his father.
