Covenant between Nicholas Bagshaw of Farewell, co. Staff., gentleman, and John Linacare, gentleman, and John Noble, yeoman, both of Farewell, co. Staff., and Richard Blackborne of Longdon, co. Staff, yeoman, for recovery by the said Nicholas of the manor of Abney, co. Derby, and lands in Chapel en le Frith, in the said county, to the use of the said Nicholas for life, and then to the heirs of his body; in which lands the said John Linacre is enfeoffed by deed dated 11 April ,30 Elizabeth, and which he shall suffer the said John Noble and Richard Blackborne to enter by writ of entry.
