Agreement between George Bradshawe of Eyam, co. Derby, esquire, of the first part, and William Watson of Macclesfield, co. Chest., gentleman, and Edward Shipton of Singleton, co. Chest., of the second part, and Henry Bradshawe, son and heir apparent of Henry Bradshawe of Marple, co. Chest., gentleman, John Bradshawe, younger brother to the said Henry the son, John Fallowes of Fallowes, in the co. of Chest., gentleman, and Philip Calham of London, merchant taylor, that where the said George Bradshaw is seised of the manor of Abney, co. Derby, and in messuages and lands in Abney, Hope, Eyam alias Eyams, Foloe alias Foolow, Middleton, Hucklow, Monyash, Bretton, Glossop, Bradshaw, Chapel en le Frith and Bowden in the said county of Derby, and lately by a deed of sale enrolled in Chancery sold the same to Edward Shipton, the lands in Eyam are now to be held for the use of the said George during his life, and after his death one-half of the mansion and dwelling house and the lands of the said George at Eyam as shall be of the yearly value of £120 shall be to the use of Elizabeth Bradshawe, wife of the said George in the name of her jointure, and after her death the whole moiety to the use of Francis Bradshawe, son and heir apparent of the said George, and in default to the use of Henry Bradshawe the elder.
