The Cloth, 3 yards, 30s. 5. For 8 men to attend the goal, 16d. For mending the seats for the judges and about the place where the prisoners were kept. And what it please you to allow me towards the diet for me and my servants at both the Assizes which ever has been allowed me and my servants at every meal a mess of meat, 3s. And your Wor[ship] promised me to restore unto me 40s. back again if I had not a good year of it, I will appeal to Mr Pegg whether I have had a good year or not in my place this year.
