Grant from George Sely, kinsman and heir of Thomas Porte, namely son of Margery, sister of the aforesaid Thomas, to John Porte, gentleman, Thomas Cokayn, Richard Dawns, German Pole, esquires, Robert Blagg, Baron of the Exchequer, Thomas Porte, 'decretis doctori' (Doctor of Laws) and Edward Pennant, of one tenement in the parish of St Peter in Derby lying between the tenement of the nuns of Derby on the one part and a lane called Baglone on the other, and extending along the king's highway towards the church of St Peter, to hold to the use of the said John Porte.
