Agreement between Robert Keys of Kilburn, co. Derby, gentleman, of the first part, Thomas Stanhope of Shelford, co. Nott., esquire, and Edward Stanhope, brother of the said Thomas Stanhope, of the second part, and Richard Coke of Kirkby in Ashfield, co. Nott., gentleman, of the third part, whereby the said Robert, in consideration of the sum of £70 paid to him by the said Thomas and Edward, and of the entailing of some part of his inheritance, has agreed to sell to the said Thomas, Edward and Richard, a messuage in Horsley Woodhouse, co. Derby, now leased to Henry Fletcher at a yearly rent of 26s.8d., together with other leases, namely, to Robert Newton of closes called Stubble Nooke and the Brwe Closes, to Richard Kirkland of a close called Pyller Sytche, and to Henry Taverner of a close called the Over Croft at a yearly rent of 10s.; and to levy a fine and convey in trust to the said feoffees of the said messuage, together with lands in Horsley Woodhouse, in Kilburn aforesaid, in Horsley and in Denby, co. Derby, to the use of the said Robert Keys and Ellen his wife for their lives and the longer lived of them, remainder to sons, in default to Mary Keys, their daughter, and her issue, in default to the right heirs of Richard Coke.
